Statistics show a significant increase in the use of professional lawn and landscape services. According to Landscape Management magazine, a study conducted by the National Gardening Association revealed that homeowners spent a record $44.7 billion on professional lawn and landscape services in 2006…an increase of $20.2 billion since 2001. The same study reported that 34.5 million households hired at least one type of lawn and landscape service. In addition, the study showed that 27.8 million households hired both lawn care and landscape maintenance services.
